About Park Falls Municipal Airport

Park Falls Municipal Airport (PKF) is a public-use airport serving the City of Park Falls in Price County, Wisconsin. The airport is equipped with a single asphalt runway measuring 3,200 feet in length and 60 feet in width. The airport is classified as a general aviation facility in the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS). Its primary role is to meet the needs of general aviation, which includes recreational flying, flight training, and emergency transport.

The City of Park Falls, in coordination with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Bureau of Aeronautics (BOA), is undertaking an update to the airport's Master Plan and associated Airport Layout Plan (ALP) to address short- and long-term needs at the airport. These documents are required to be updated by the FAA to ensure the airport is operating safely and efficiently and is able to meet current and future aviation needs.
